Real-Life Decision Making

You're working as a DJ at a new radio station, the X FM. The station is edgy, it plays today's hippest tunes, and you have creative freedom. No one is too sure about the future of the station, but things seem steady and people are saying it's probably a good place to be.

The managers are internet-savvy and definitely forward-thinking. Your pay isn't great, but you love your job, and your boss says a raise is in the future.

Then, you get a call from CNEWS FM. They need a DJ for one of their music shows. CNEWS is an older, more conservative station. They have been in town for 20 years and show no sign of going away. Their numbers are consistent, they are more old-school in approach, and their website looks like it was designed in the '90s.

The pay is much better than at your current job, but it probably won't change much as the years go by. It's consistent, solid work. You will have no say in what you play on your show, though, and they don't have much interest in newer music. Still, the music isn't terrible.

What would you do?
